I’d definitely want to ensure we can not only send notifications but also create spaces, and maybe even trigger workflows from Chat, and use chat instead of email for human-in-the-loop steps

This! Right now I have to use n8n/make on multiple projects, because of missing this integration on Google Chat as Slack replacement.

Sure! Google’s new chat rolling the Slack (it stills the best ♥️) and more and more companies with Google Workspace don’t pay slack price for smaller and smaller difference. I’m the mostly missing trigger “when I use X emote on message” e.g. for creating tasks in Asana.
